VERY IMPORTANT(#1) You MUST click 'Save Settings' to commit the settings to PiGS.
VERY IMPORTANT(#2) After making lineup or ICON changes, you must perform a 'Manual Guide Refresh' on DVR+ *
If you don't like changes you made, don't click 'Save Settings', just refresh your browser(F5) to restore
The DVR+ zipcode (Menu>Settings>Time & Date>Zip Code) can't be '00000.' Anything non-zero like 99999 works.
Enter your SD username and password and click 'Verify Login'
This converts your pwd to sha1 and attempts to execute a command on the SD server. The sha1 is saved, password is not.
Login Status should change to a green success message.
The Verify Login only needs to be done once, unless your password changes.
The next time you open configuration, it will say 'Login Status: Verified,' because your sha1 encoded password was saved.
Verify Login IS a good way to test the PiGS connection to the SD servers, or the Network in general.
Enter a Zipcode and click 'Preview Lineup' to see what channels are available for that Zip
Scroll through the list on the right and make sure all your channels are there
Ctrl-Click to select the CHANNELS you want listings for (your favorites)
This limits the amount of program data fetched from SD and sent to DVR+, making downloads faster
Once your favorites are selected you MUST click 'Add this Channel Lineup'
The lineup should appear in the Lineups box
Actually you can Ctrl-click channels after you Add the Lineup also.
Some lineups have duplicate channels in them, like two 14.1's. Make sure to select only 1 or you get a warning.
PiGS can handle the DVR+ 100+ channels, ask on the forum.
PiGS can (usually) get guide data for new channels before SD has the data, ask on the forum.
To add more lineups, enter another Zip, 'Preview' select Favs, 'Add Lineup' SD allows for 4 lineups.
What if a channel I can receive is not in the Lineup? Use a 2nd lineup. Try a nearby Zipcode and select the channels you need.
To Delete a lineup you do not need, select it in the Lineups list and click 'Delete Lineup'

DVR+ allows 512 characters for program descriptions.
(New) is added to the beginning of the description for "New" Programs.
PiGS can enhance the description with the Episode information, Cast info, etc.
Pigs selects the longest available program description that will fit in the space.
Finally, if there is still space remaining, cast names can be appended.
Guide Icons - Select from:
No Icons (get default little 'TV' icons)
CM/Rovi Ions (CM icons are used if available)
Schd Dir Icons (Schedules Direct themed icons & Theme)
You can also create your own custom channel icons or borrow them from somewhere else (zap2it)
To make an image file for say channel 15.1, create or rename a png file named 15.1.png
Place the file in the PiGS directory eg ./pigs/myicons with your file manager and PiGS will pick it up and DVR+ will use it.
The log file name is listed as a reminder but cant be changed. Click label to view the file.
Select a logging level. DEBUG dumps a lot of information, INFO just logs progress info.
WARNING's may appear, but they may not be bad - just something that doesnt happen often.
The log file can be viewed/downloaded from a Browser window - type <your-pigs-ip>/pigslog.txt
where the IP shown is the STATIC IP of your PiGS
* DVR+ only performs its full 3-step guide refresh on power up or manual guide refresh.
For DVR+ to process modified/new lineup favorites, a 'Manual Guide Refresh' must be done to update the channel listings
