To install the PiGS EGP DVR+ Server, you need a computer. You can read about computer selection on this Platform Overview Post on the AVS forum. If you have a Windows computer, then you can go directly to the Windows Install Post where you will find a 17-minute Windows install video and a video on selecting IP’s for your computer and DVR.
If you are installing on another computer like a Mac or Raspberry Pi, email me with your computer info and I will provide more specific information, or check out this shared google spreadsheet with detailed installation instructions for just about any platform.
The install zip file for Windows portable can be found here and the zip file for any other platform (the PiGS Python Source) can be found on the Download Page. Just follow the install instructions in the Shared Google Spreadsheet .
